Im looking around to HDtv's that i can multiuse.. console/PC, what exactly does each mean :)

"HD ready" means that you'll have to have a set top box with a HD tuner from either your cable or sat company...for most people this is fine. Tv's that have built-in ATSC (HD) tuners are useful only for over the air or unscrambled digital over analog cable...in other words you can just plug the cable straight from the wall to the tv as long as it also has a NTSC tuner. (standard definition)

Most tv's that have built in tuners will have 3 kinds..NTSC (standard definition) ATSC (HD) and QAM (unscrambled digital/HD over cable). Cable companies don't like QAM so some makers have stopped putting them in their tv's..

so HDTV tuner inside is probaly the best, at least for a desk that will have a monitor next to it most likely

Well like I said, if you plan on using an antenna (over the air) or simply plugging into to cable then the internal tuners would be useful....otherwise if you have any lind of external tuner they won't be used at all unless you want to switch back and forth between inputs.

It really depends on how you plan to get your HD programming. In my case, I get mine through a cable box, so either type of hdtv is fine.
