HDTV Question

CRT will offer the best image quality hands down, but I'd go for the 34" model if possible...
I have the 32" Sony (32HS510) hdtv and its been superb as a gaming TV (Xbox/Cube/PS2).
Everyone that see's it for the first time always comments on the picture quality.

CRT is still the best. I wouldn't get that model though. If you have craigslist or something similar in your area look for a 3-4 year old Sony XBR 36"+. I got a KV-36XBR400 for $800 and it beats the pants off anything, only downside is no DVI or HDMI on the older models.
 
i've decided on the Samsung LN-R238W because it just looks amazing, i saw it at circuit city and i think it looks better than the XBR Sony i saw there. (don't flame me for that lol)

Best PQ is still plasmas but at that size and price-point I haven't done much research.

Too bad I don't have $900 to spend on a TV, as that looks like a nice deal. I really hope the price of these TV's drop even faster, as these widescreen tv's look so dinky. Maybe it's just me, but a 26in widescreen tv looks so much smaller than a 25 or 27 inch regular NTSC 4:3 ratio TV

That's not bad at all! I think I want one now, although I still have to find a way to come up with the cash. It actually looks perfect as set on a desk in front of you. That's how I plan on doing the majority of my gaming anyway.
