Hi!
Is there on the web a database of LCD panels used in HD TVs?
I know there are such webs for LCD monitors.

Panels do not matter as much in HDTVs as they do in LCD monitors. Image circuits are much more important in TVs. I believe that's why no HDTV panel databases are available.

Most Samsung and Sony LCD-TVs use S-PVA.
Most Philips high-end TVs use Sharp's ASV panels.
LG uses LG.Display S-IPS panels.
Panasonic and Toshiba mainly use their own IPS variant for their small LCD-TVs.
