I have the following PC equip:
GPU - NvidiaGTX 295
CPU - i7 OC'd to 3.5Ghz
ASUS P6T Mobo

I want to link to a new HDTV, my current thoughts are:
47"backlit LED, 120 or 240 mhz, less then 6ms response
50" Plasma, 600mhz
42"backlit LED, 120 or 240 mhz, less then 6ms response

Which of the three will work, primarily with Skyrim. Prefer 2560 x 1600, but 1920 x 1080 is fine too.

Main thing is that I can connect with HDMI for video (probably will get a speaker system for audio) and run the game full screen.

Please advise.

See if any of the TVs support your preferred resolution size. I made sure when i built my gaming pc (play on 37" TV) that my video card supported my TV native resolution so the picture wouldn't look crappy.

The best you will get is 1080P @ 60Hz. No more, maybe less.

Through my Samsung Plasma (sig) I get a 60hz at 1920x1080. Gaming works fine for me, but I play older games as you can see the laptop I am running right now isn't much of a gaming monster...
