HDMI Question - sound does not switch to HDMI when cable is plugged in..

When I plug in the HDMI cable in to my laptop, the sound output does not automatically switch from my laptop speakers to my TV's speakers.

I have to go into the Control Panel and change the Sound settings manually to HDMI output. On my other laptops the sound switches automatically to the TVwhen I plug in the HDMI cable.

Anybody have tips on what I can do?

You could try updating your drivers, both video and sound.
