HDMI on HP L2335?

Good People,

A question, anybody tried to connect a DVD player thru HDMI with HDCP to a HP L2335?
LCD flat panel If so did the image show up or did you get a black screen because of that stupid copy protection? I would run a HDMI to DVI cable, the idea is that this will be a pure digital signal which should give you the best possible image.
