I'm sure this has been asked a million times however I know what I'm going to get however I just wanted to make sure.

A quick summary of how my setup will be.

This is in the family room (it is small so no need for speakers - I have my HT with speakers in the basement)

The TV will go on the wall.

I will put HDMI wall plates http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10425&cs_id=1042501&p_id=7332&seq=1&format=2

Use http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10240&cs_id=1024008&p_id=3871&seq=1&format=2 between the TV and wall plate (and wall plate and PS3/HTPC/etc...)

Inside the wall I will put HDMI cables that will connect from one wall plate to another.

I can either use this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10240&cs_id=1024004&p_id=3663&seq=1&format=2

or this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10240&cs_id=1024012&p_id=4160&seq=1&format=2

Any suggestions? would I need to use other HDMI cables or are the ones I selected are the ones that I should use?

Thanks for the help :)

Use whichever one you like.

Personally, I'm a sucker for jacketed cables. The monoprice jacketed cable is pretty stiff though, just FYI.
Since your wallplates have flex pigtails in them, the stiff cable doesn't matter.
I would tape them into the pigtails in the wall though.

I would tape them too. HDMI, like clip-less SATA cables aren't exactly known for their ability to be fastened securely. Vibrations over time might cause the cables to drop out of the pigtail connectors.

Scotch tape would likely lose its adhesion over time inside a wall (and outside for that matter).

Electrical tape should be fine as it will adhere better and it will stretch for a snug fit around the cable.

24gauge MonoPrice high-speed cables are tits. Work great on all my high-end hi-fi.

The cable you needs depends on run length. For short runs any cable will be fine but as the run gets longer you need higher quality cable. Especially if you are trying to run a from a computer or other 1080p60 source (afaict most AV stuff is either 720p60,1080i60 or 1080p24).

I know the monoprice net jacket covered cables are tough, I have a couple of them.
Do you think the flat cl2 would be better? Less weight?
