So I have my Asus VH238H hooked up via DVI to EVGA GTX570.

I disconnected the DVI, hooked up the HDMI cable between the two, booted up and the monitor displays"No DVI Signal".

I hooked up both cables simultaneously and the computer seems to think I have 2 monitors now, so it seems the cable is ok but I'm not sure what settings I need to fix.

You are using the monitor on the HDMI input?

The system knows the cable is connected, but you need to make the monitor select the HDMI as the source. That should solve the problem.

Ah, figured it out, It didn't save use HDMI as input in monitor settings.

Man I feel old.
