HDD to HDD software?

Hi Guys
I have a question reguarding hdds.
Is there some time of software or method of transfering
all data/files/os from one hdd of one size to another hdd of another size, but still the same interface and still be able to boot off of the hdd and keep the files intact as if it was never touched?

Basicly I ask this because i want to take my os drive (160GB SATA2) and move everything to a new 250GB SATA2 and not have to reinstall Windows or loose my files. Can this be done? If so how?

acronis, ghost, drive image pro, can clone one drive to another.. Usually the disk that comes with a new drive also has software that can do that as well.. Or the hd manufacturers website will have it for download..
