Hi,
I got 1 Seagate barracuda 7.200 200GB sata and 1 Samsung SP120 200GB sata.
I got them bothn very close each other, they even touch each other, but i dont have that much room.
I looked @ temps with Speedfan prog, and it said 1 hdd was 53C and other was 59C
Thats VERY high, and i wonder if thats why my comp can be alil slower, i know my comp well and it should be faster if u look what rig i got.
Any1 gt any suggestions ?

Well, that's two of the coolest drives out there (The seagate for sure, the Samsung I'm pretty sure).

You really need to look at improving your cooling.

If the drives are touching, then you have no airflow between them. Not good at all.

Hard drive temperatures above 50C require immediate corrective action. Over 55 is risking imminent failure. Simply installing a 92mm fan in the front of my case dropped temperatures on my hard drive in my new gaming rig 10C. Sounds like it's time for you to pick up a new case - even a cheapie with just a low speed 80mm fan and a basic hard drive mounting system will probably drop temperatures on your drives at least 15C. A well designed cooling system will probably shave 20C off of the 59C figure.
