HDD suddenly got slower

So I have 3x 3TB WD REDs in my server and some time ago I noticed that one got slower.

Here are speed and smart results:
Click!

I installed HDD 1 and 2 at the same time (WD30EFRX-68AX9N0),
HDD 3 is new (WD30EFRX-68EUZN0). They are used in flexraid snapshot raid.
So as you can see HDD 2 is capped at 70mb/s, and this is what my raid update speed is like on this drive. I'm also sure it was averaging ~120mb/s before.

What gives? Is the drive dying?
Thanks.

There don't seem to be any errors on the slow drive, it doesn't mean it's not bad but there is nothing clear to point to.

You should try to get a tool to read through the entire disk to see if there are specific areas with problems in them, I wrote my own tool for Linux (diskscan) but believe that there are equivalent tools for Windows if that's what you use. Just did a quick search and there is HD-Tune for Windows.

Is this drive mostly full? Remember sequential performance at the end of the disk is around 1/2 the performance at the beginning.

Yes the drive 1 and 2 are full (50gb left on each for flexraid) 3 is empty.
I did the test and here are the results:
Code:
position - speed
HDD 1
0% - 148/s
50% - 121mb/s
80% - 95mb/s
99% - 68mb/s

HDD 2
0% - 142mb/s
50% - 117mb/s
80% - 92mb/s
99% - 66mb/s

Both are similar so the drive must be fine. I guess I didn't notice that the 1 drive was getting slower as I pretty much filled it when it arrived.
The strange thing is that ATTO Bench shows HDD 1 to be much faster and that threw me off.
Well I guess problem solved. Thanks!
