I'm planning a Conroe build that's going to be 1/2 Gamer / 1/2 HTPC. As such I want a quick boot/programs drive, and a bunch of storage. I also want to be able to add more storage later.

Both rig's will have a 74gb 16meg Raptor as the boot drive(and I'm planning to silence it as much as I can), but the storage drives are presenting me with a choice.

I can get 3 320GB SATA drives,
or 1 750GB SATA drive.

The 750 is a bit more expensive, but not much, the 3 320's would put more of a strain on the Powersupply, and use up my SATA ports, leaving my upgrade potential later at zero unless I remove an existing drive. Eventual plan is to get to about 2TB and digitize a good chunk of my DVD collection, goal is to have that done in the next year or so.

So I'm looking for opinions. 3 smaller drives, or 1 bigger drive.
