So, my Power and HDD leds have worked perfectly for months now.. last night I stealthed a DVD-Rom drive and popped it into my system. The system recognized it perfectly, it works, but now, the HDD Activity light is constantly on. I took all the jumpers out and rewired them just to make sure I didn't bump anything, but it's still constantly on. My HDD isn't being used constantly though. The only thing that was weird is that when I first booted with the new drive in, Windows popped up like.. 12 messages saying "Win32 General Process" has caused an error or something along those lines, then when I clicked okay it popped up 12 more "Your system has recovered from a serious error." boxes. I haven't tried disconnecting the drive because I didn't want to change my other drive jumpers around but if anyone knows what's going on help is always appreciated.
