HDD diconnecting after sleep mode

My Western Digital Green 2TB which i use for storage disconnects each time after sleep mode. I have to restart the pc completely and then it acts like a new hardware and slows down the boot time. And since i use SSD, it quite annoying to get longer boot time cause of this.

What i may need to mention is that i have corsair 800d case, and hdd is mounted on the hot-swap there. But this should not be any probably since everything was working fine when i had the OS on a HDD but then again i never used sleep mode back then.
Anyways, any idea on what to try ?
 
If you direct connect the drive to a SATA port on the motherboard (no hot swap/backplane) does the problem go away?
