I know this isn't a laptop area but it concerns AMD videoncard.
My system is an HP Pavillion DV6-6047cl Win 7 64
IT has I7 8gb ram, Intel 180 ssd, seagate 750XT hybrid IN CD caddy tray, Radeon HD6770M w 1gb GDDR5. It has switchable graphics to enable the on board Intel HD. I had to reinstall HPs switchable graphics 2 weeks ago. I then upgraded to 13.2 beta as Hp has no current drivers. I have no Amd HDMI device. I do have intel display audio. The intel Display audio does not even show up in the sound panel. I have enabled hidden and disabled devices. I have unistalled all display drivers, tried different betas, hp original drivers etc. I only have the onboard IDC sound. The hdmi did work until I had to reinstall the vc drivers. WTF is the problem here? is there even a separate Amd hdmi driver

It likely relies more on the Intel driver as I believe the AMD card outputs to the Intel card which then outputs to the screen. Just a guess.
