HD595s vs. Quietcomforts

Hello everyone this is my first post here(not that thats important ) I am interested in purchasing high end headphones. The decision is between the HD595s or the QuietComfort 2's. I like the bose cans because of the noise canceling and that helps in the loud envirnoments im in (airport, work, next to my pc), however Im also in love with the 595s because I love Sennheiser. Which ones would you guys reccomend?

This is a no-brainer.
Even the HD497s kill those Bose cans.

I would avoid bose. Verry overpriced stuff.

If you want noise cancelling, you have two choices, active headphones or in-ear phones (canalphones). Canalphones do it by merely sealing off your ear canal from the outside...often the better method, but those types may be uncomfortable to some.

As far as cans, get the senns if you want cans. Since your willing to drop the cash, try to find a pair of koss canalphones to mess with to se if you even like the feeling of in-ear phones...those cost $15. If you like the feel of the phones, then drop the cash on a set of Shure E2C ($100), those have insane noise damping...using the foam pads, I couldn't even hear the 70Db of ambient noise at my workplace....it was awesome...and good sound quality to boot.

Thanks for the help, Im going for the Senns, because i went to the bose store at the mall to test them, and they sounded like $hit and the noise canceling gave me a freaking headache. Rock on Senn, die bose
