do the sennheiser hd570s blow the 497's out of the water enough that i would pay 30 more bucks for them, i would like better quality sound but im a bunny on a budget :(

IMHO the HD570 is not one of Sennheiser's better headphones. It was way overpriced for the sound quality that it produced when it was sold at its full $150 retail price. And in your case, that extra $30 would buy you a headphone that sounds so bright that your eardrums would get "pierced", along with muddy bass and incoherent midrange. Thank Goodness that the HD570 is being discontinued and replaced by the much better HD555.

damn thanks alot man u saved me like 70 bucks, so i should definitely get the hd497 right now ? OR should i get a new soundcard (audigy 2 zs) and i wanna know the scoop on the m-audio revolution and how good this card is, ive seen it around:cool:
