HD4830 fan speed issue

I have been trying to modify profiles so that I can control my 4830's fan speed as per the [H]ardOCP video I watched as even wit the latest drivers I do not get the fan speed adjuster on my Overdrive view. I changed things as explained, but noticed no sound or temp difference switching between profiles, other then the overclock I have enabled on my game profile. Is this just not supported for the 4830? It doesn't seem like temps are a problem for it (as low as 17C idle as per CCC), but I just want to make sure I don't kill it while I'm gaming and not paying attention to my temps.

other then that - LOVE MY 4830! :D:D:D
