HD Video streaming to a Laptop HELP!

Im having an issue at work where i have a FLIR system at work that has a very high quality output. the output runs to a junction box where one feed is sent to the monitor and controller, and the other needs to be streamed to the laptop. the output from the junction box is VGA. unfortunately, i dont know any laptop that has a VGA input. lol.

we have already gone over the idea of changing the output to a composite, and then using a USB adapter to stream it in, problem being that we loose signal quality and the we have not found anything that will look good at 1280X1024.

Does anyone know of and input devise that will take a VGA input, or some way without having to make a composite signal first?

vga to comonent converter to a dvr. You would need a capture system for the laptop otherwise. You might see what options Flir has for capture. I know records of thermal imaging surveys has to be recorded.
