Was recovering some backups from DVD earlier, and I noticed it was taking forever for it to copy data so I downloaded HDTach to run a benchmark, and lo and behold for some reason the drive is maxing out at 7 MB/s. Tried both drives in the system, both SATA, an they both said their burst speed as well as sequential read speed was 7 MB/s . . .any ideas on what I should check?
 
MOTHER B< can somebody please move this into General Hardware or a more appropriate forum, had too many tabs open lol :(
