what program would i use to monitor my hard drive temps and what temps are high and low in hard drives?

everest and speed fan show hdd temps and im not sure whats bad i know speed fan shows a flame by them when it hits 50 c i think

Speedfan will monitor hd temps through SMART. However, there's really not much of a need to monitor HD temps. As long as you've got some airflow over them you'll be fine

Yea its cause i just took out 2 fans that was intaking air into my hard drives.

My IDE drive is telling me 37C and my SATA is telling me 41C. Is that good? Hopefully my tornados on the side of my case is pulling enough air to cool the front.

It's well within range for those drives.
Cooler is always better for electronics, however. Something like halfing the lifespan for ever 10c hotter you run them at. I've always moved on to bigger, faster, and better things before even a year so I suppose I don't really care :p

Temperaturs over 45C merit concern, and over 50 requires immediate correction. Low 40s are not desirable, but certainly acceptable. Temperatures like what you are experiencing should not significantly impact the lifespan of the drives.
