Recentaly ive been thinking of exspanding my HD window moding. What i have in mind is puting a very small led on the seek arm of the hard drive.
I know this has been done before but i cant find any info or even pics of it. It was shown on a german site from what i rember somtime in early 2002.

Does anyone have any exsperiance with this sort of thing or any sugestions that might be helpfull?

thanks

one sugestion is to use a crap hard drive, old and cheap, the second is for the LED use thin copper strands off bare wire instead of thick wire. put a thin peice of tape over the arm so the wire does not touch metal, then put another over the copper strands. Making absolutely sure they do not come in contact with each other (tweezers and a magnifying glass will help you) Good luck
