I've been thinking about creating some sort of tube or led that could be placed on the front of the case using the existing HD Led connector. Basically, I think it would be cool to have a large led of some sort to flash in sync with HD activity. Maybe you could buy this already so let me know if it exists and what it's called. If not, has anyone done something like this? I love watching my HD activity light :)

You're on the right track but not thinking big enough. What you should do is make the HD LED act as a switch for the overhead light in your room, or a nearby lamp. Maybe down the road you can add a vibrating motor to the circuit to make your chair rumble with hard drive activity. This would give you the full experience.

So when you are downloading porn, your chair will vibrate. Hmmm, interesting idea.

....and wire in a pleasant smelling electric air freshener too. Spare no expense.
