My system currently runs 2 HD's. I just ordered a new 160gb HD to replace my 80gb. I have my OS system on a 40gb. How can I copy all my info off my 80 gb on to my new 160gb? Thanks
 
Ghost. That's the easy way, anyways. Partition Magic may be able to do this.
 
I bet you would get much better performance from your system if ya would just use ghost and toss yer drive onto the 160GB and use the 40GB for file storage... or even give yer buddy the 40GB... Yer trapping yourself in old technology.

Good idea

is there a difference in drive speed or cache between the 160GB and 40GB?
 
As longs at the 40gb and 80gb are of the same generation, there shouldn't be an appricable difference between them, as they'll have the same density and whatnot.
