HD Appears in BIOS & Windows Devices but..

[]|[ Mar']['in ]|[]

But isn't showing up in "My Computer". I've tried plugging it using different IDE cables, and such. Tried different jumper settings.

I guess I'm not sure why it would show in the BIOS and devices but not seem to be actually working.

Any help apppreciated

yeah, use the WD lifeguard tool thingie to do it, and choose your format, when you do that it should show up

or you could open the disk management snap in in windows and format and partition it...

control panel > administrative tools > computer management > disk management

it'll show up in there. right click the drive for a list of tasks.
