Hmm...I just made an interesting discovery.

I have been gettin static in my headphones for a while now, and just realized that it only comes about when my HD activity led is on.

I checked with speakers and its there too.

So hard drive activity is making audio crackle. (Crackle describes the sound better than static)


Common problem? Solutions? I've been looking to get a sound card anyway :confused:
