Hello all

i have a small problem i have a 6950 HD card when i got the card in the box i received an adapter from dVI to VGA so i can connect my display to it

now i have received the exact same monitor and its also VGA

i know that i cannot connect 2 monitors via the DVI as the one is a single way display and the other one is a dual channel signa l display

so i wanted to ask what can i do in order to connect the second monitor that is VGA i have located a few adaptors on amazon but i am not sure if they will work

i would like to get a product from UK so if you have any sort of links etc Please let me know again i do not want eyefinity' or any thing like this i just want to run 2 VGA monitors on 1 PC extended desktop thats all :(

If your card has two DVI ports, you should be able to just use a pair of these:

I'm assuming that your monitors came with VGA cables, so you just plug the cable into the adapter and the adapter into the DVI port.

Then again, I'm not sure what a single way display is versus a dual channel signal display. So, if you can't use two DVI ports (for reasons that I don't understand), I don't see why the combo that you linked would not work:

Which 6950? It doesn't help saying you have a new 6950, because one of my new 6950 cards has two DVI connectors and one HDMI, while a different card has one DVI and two display ports.
