im jsut wondering if a hd 6870 can run on my psu which is a antec power trio 430 (430watts)

my system is on my sig

No, your current psu only has 1x 6-pins for pci-e. The 6870 requires 2x 6-pins for pci-e. Grab a Corsair 650TX. It has 2x 6+2 pins for pci-e. 52A on the 12V rail for superior system stability and future proof for stronger video card compatibility.

um there is a thing called an adapter you know. his psu is more than plenty to run a 6870 with his system. it would be a silly waste of money for him to buy high end psu just to run a 6870.

it only comes with one 6 pin
it took only a few seconds to look on newegg and see that most come with 2 of them. its obviously up to the card maker as to how many it comes with and a couple models do not include one at all.
