I recently setup eyefinity on my 5970 and have encountered an issue.

The active Sapphire Mini DP to DVI adapter I am using for the 3rd monitor does not want to pass the monitor's EDID information along. I am not sure if it is just a defective adapter or if this particular adapter does not work with crossfire and eyefinity.

Either way I am going to end up buying another, just wanted to get an idea of what is working for others.

Any other HD 5970 owners out there running eyefinity? If so, what mini DP to DVI adapters do you use? Sapphire, XFX, Accell, Powercolor?
