HD 4850 low crossfire benchmark score question

Hi guys,
I just set up my HD 4850's in crossfire and i am getting a 3dmark of 13099.
I think that is low,
My system specs are below.

Any ideas or is my score where it should be,

i scored a 10500 (i'm assuming you mean 3dmark06) on my rig before my mb died. your score doesn't seem unreasonable. admittedly the best place to look would be in futuremark's online result browser. i am sure there are much more people with your config than mine.

i scored over 22k with cards at 675/1075 and a 4.4 dual core, cpu speed matters a bunch in 06

Definitely try OCing your CPU. The XBX2 should let you run at least 2.8-3.0ghz. It makes thousands of points of difference, especially on a Quad.

Try Vantage (and look at the graphics score), and compare this to other similar systems

My old board was an xbx2 before I upgraded to the gigabyte x48 i am on now. With an e6600 @3.2 on the xbx2 i scored 13700 with my 4850CF. With the x48 board and an E8400 @3.6 I scored 18100. If you are running stock speeds on that Q6600 then your score is fine.

thanks for the info guys, im running everything stock so i guess the scores reflect that.

maybe when i change out the board to an x48 the performance will immprove some.

it will, greatly. crysis was night and day for me when i switched out the xbx2 to an x48 board. those old 975x boards just dont have the pcie bandwidth to run crossfire at peak speeds. my xbx2 and e6600 combo are now my htpc. It still is a great board.
