Hd 2900 pro benchmarked

At 1680 x 1050 you need at least 4xaa imho.

Yeah, if you're using a 22'' monitor. On my 20'' - I have a .258m dot pitch - and the difference between 2x and 4xAA is negligible. So I only run 2x on most of my games.

It honestly not the lack of AA that bothers me about the card - it's the massive power consumption. That and the fact that G92 and RV670 which are hopefully a little over one month away will be much more attractive.

Yep same here the lack of R600 AA performance is not an issue with me, but as with above poster, the power consumption is.

55nm tech promises much, lets see how it delivers. I read in some news today that RV670 is due to November lauch, probably to face off with the upcoming (middle range?) G92 cards.

hope for the best, all you can do.

Atis R580 was a winner, the R520 was debatable, and late. Hopefully ATI can have the same story with the R680/RV670 and the R600 respectivly!
