My school is so fucking stupid the Cisco NAC client will not work on my folding rig, something to do with it being Windows XP 64 bit, so i had to shut it down for thanksgiving break before leaving  i was using ICS through my laptop before.

2 of my GPUS here at home have EUE errors( with the 1.19 core) so i have no idea what to do.

so im down 4 GPUS:rolleyes:

One of my GPU clients this morning had continuous errors to the point that it hit the 24hr suspension. The other client in the same machine didn't get any errors so I figured it must have been a bad run of WUs. It happens on occasion. All my clients in the other systems had no EUEs at all.

That sucks man but yeah xp 64-bit is kind of the forgotten OS, it never did get much support when it comes to drivers and 3rd party apps.

No such thing as a bad folding day..just some are better then others;)

Yeah, I noticed one of my clients would EUE immediately on starting work . I had to delete the work folder. Don't remember which WU it was tho. But it had paused for 24 hrs and I had to shut it down and restart it twice. This was on a system that had been running stable for a couple of weeks.

Good times indeed!

Yeah brother APOLLO, I can dig what your sayin'.;) While I'm a little short on the knowledge of Cisco NAC (in fact I'll admit I don't know "jack shite" about it") I understand your frustration with clients EUE'ing, etc and WinXP 64 is like a "wet dream", very frustrating at times :( I know about the trials and tribulations of the lost OS WinXP 64. I used it on one of my 24/7 dedicated folding boxen until it went "belly up" and I'll probably continue using it when I get the boxen back up :). Sometimes you just gotta' "roll with the flow". :D
Like brother BillR said "No such thing as a bad folding day..just some are better then others" :D It's seems to be very true and everybody has their "down" days :(
Please keep up the great work :p

Folding and WCGing for the CURE

When I was trying to run that particular OS I found that it was not only a forgotten 3rd party OS but Microsoft had even decided it wasn't worth their time. The netflix movie streamer requires the latest windows media player to be installed on your computer, and when I went to do that with XP 64 bit, I found out Windows Media Player could not be updated any further than I already was.

I found Vista on sale a couple days later in FS/FT. Thank goodness for Vista 64 bit I say.
