Having trouble with Video output

Hello,

I recently (2/13/13) purchased a ASrock z77 Pro3 Motherboard, I received it today in brand new packaging looking very neat and tidy.

This motherboard was bought to replaced my old z68 pro3 gen3 that would not boot up if i had the 8 pin power cpu connector connected, Now this new z77 board starts and powers right up absolutely fine, however I can not get any video to come from either a dedicated graphics card or the IGP, I have reset the cmos, pulled the battery, tried 3 different video cards (560 DS SSC, 550ti, 6800xt) all to no avail, whether through the d-dvi or the mhdmi ports, if i plug any of the in, going to my hp 21" it just says "monitor going to sleep".

Now I have never had this problem as his monitor and my 32" Vizio have been my primary displays for the last year with no problems with the aforementioned 550 ti.

My question is, is this a sign of a bad motherboard ?

No Video after:
Reseated all power connectors time and time again (tx650)
unplugged all hard drives and booted with only 24 pin, 8 pin cpu heatsink fan and 1 stick of memory
reset cmos
pulled mobo battery
run with 3 different cards all to the same reaction from the monitor "going to sleep"
tried a coolermaster 550w xtreme, again with no success

Is there something I'm missing? :(
