Having audio problems...

Hey there...ok...I moved to Disney World and brought my computer from home...well I set it all up and got everthing working like a charm...but now all of a sudden my speakers won't work...if I turn the volume up REAL loud I can hear some bass and sometimes a little sweak sound or something...

I have a Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 surround sound and an Audigy Platinum...

Any ideas on what the prob could be???

You moved to disneyworld? Safe, although isnt the music getting really annoying by now?

Have you got it set to 5.1 in the output, have you got the breakout box plugged in (if you have one)? have you got a set of headphones plugged in?

Do you get sound from your motherboard chip? Has teh PC decided to use that instead for some reason, can you test the speakers with an ordinary known working source (CD player or something)
 
I work at the All-Star Music Resort...The All=Star Resort is the largest resort in the world...well that's what they're telling us at least...I'vedone everything you've said already except for the CD player thing...it's a bitch to unhook the stuff and plug it into a CD player...I'll try that tomorrow...

It is a bitch, but thats the only thing i can think of to check if your speakers are working ok. or you can try other speakers/headphone in your soundcard output.

I stayed there once, no way is it bigger than some of the places in lasvegas, unless the mean the entire place (disney world) is bigger than any other, which id belive.
