Hello everyone, Im having a weird problem with my desktop. It occurs every 5 minutes,sometimes every 5 hours. Whats happening is my monitor shuts off and the computer does not respond and is frozen. Only change to my pc recently is I added an Evga 760 about a month ago. This started happening about a week ago.

Here is my current setup:
Gigabyte 990FXA-Ud7
AMD Fx-8150
32 GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance
Evga GTX 760
 
Hi, I have a HX1000w from Corsair. About 1 1/2 years old. I do have an OC going on, same OC for about 11/2 years as well.

You think its one of those?
 
Remove all overclocks and see if the problem persists. You gotta start a process of elimination to get to the root cause of the problem. You can also try reading the Windows Event log to see if it says anything.
 
As Skillz said, a firm ground to stand on is a good start.
 
Hello everyone, well I tried a few things. Once I took my video card out and put it back in my pc, problem hasnt come back for 2-3 days now. Hopefully it was just that
