Ok here's the deal. I bought a sager np4750 with a 3200dtr and i upgraded it to a 3700dtr. I upgraded my desktop with the new amd64 and a DFI nf3 250. So far i have had absolutely no luck overclocking it. I'm wondering if i'm just missing something here. It is wierd 2 mhz on the fsb and it doesn't even get into windows. Do i just have a no oc able proc or did i miss some setting in the bios.

you might need to increase the Vcore voltage just a tid bit more. and also try increasing the voltage on the Vdimm as well. only increase the voltage one at a time. dont go from 1.6 volts to 1.75 without testing the other volts in between.

yeah i tried that. I should have mentioned i'm not an overclocking noob. I have done it more than once. I tried all the obvious little things. Vcore dimm..checked ram and agp speeds and junk. I just don't know if i'm missing some option on this board.

Are you SURE the board accepts DTR's? Ive helped someone build a computer with that board, and it was easy as pie.

Here's where i got it from. Read through it but i know that the board supports DTR's and i know that i flashed the bios right.

Thanks Bishop. Gives me a lot better idea of what i'm doing with this new board.
