Hey guys, I had vista rc1 and just went back to xp for some programs. I am considering making my pc a dual boot system because it's a little more friendly for some of the other members of the household.

I have heard that Creative has fixed most of the EAX problems with Vista and instead of having to run Alchemy it's now built into the creative console, is there any truth to this? Wanna leap in both sides but don't wanna give up audio quality.

Completely false. EAX (and hardware acceleration) for DirectSound3D games will never work in Vista without an external program like ALchemy.

EAX (and hardware acceleration) in OpenAL games will work exactly the same in Vista as they did in XP.
