I'm going to be taking a big family vacation at the end of this month, with my family, my uncle's family, and my grandparents (who are visiting from Egypt). I would like to video-tape the whole vacation, and then create a DVD and make copies for my grandparents and tons of relatives back in Egypt. Since I don't want to use my Pinnacle PCTV card for video capture (it's horrid - avoid it like the plague), I was browsing newegg for video capture devices. I came across this Hauppauge USB-Live, and for $50, it seems like a hell of a good deal. However, I can't find any reviews on google or user reviews from newegg. Does anyone have any experience with this device? I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions for other capture devices.
