I am running STOCK 4770K with ASUS Z87 PRO, no OC.
NOCTUA NH D14 as a cooling options

Problem is my CPU is using around 1.24 voltage under normal load ( playing crisis 3) and Temps Rise around 73C. I heard these chips use much less voltage ? What gives, did I just get a poor chip which requires more volt to operate ?

When CPU is sitting IDLE the TEMP Drops to 42C and Volt drops to around 0.080 V.

By Default Core 0 is set to 39 ratio, Core 1 39, Core 2 38 & Core 3 37. I wonder why they all wont work to 39

That is how Turbo Core works. :p There's a maximum speed for each situation under heavy load: 1-2 cores, 3 and 4 cores. You can change it as explained above.

Makes sense but in my PC, weather I am playing CRYSIS 3 or just playing World of Tanks ( low resources requirments), CPU always stays at around 3.6 to 3.8 Ghz, this is with default BIOS settings. I have to set SYNC all cores manually in Asus MAXIMUS VI HERO for it to reach 3.89 Ghz.
Thx for reply.
