Hey guys and gals...I'm decently new to Ubuntu and I need to get a HASP driver installed. I can't get their Linux driver to install at all. They have generic drivers and then distribution specific ones for RedHat and SuSE. Anyways, I DLed the generic one and followed the readme but for the life of me I can't get the first part of the install - the compiling of the .c and .h files - to run. I was just wondering if anyone here may be able to point me in the right direction or maybe have installed these before...

Heres a link to where I got the driver. Its for the Parellel Port HASP key.

I need to get this key working in order to get one of my Windows only programs running (I'm hoping that Wine can do that). Any info would be appreciated!

Its acutally for AllData...any help anyone can throw me would be great!

Do you have the kernel sources installed already? If so, you might have to just make sure the link to /usr/src/linux is there, and that the kernel source is from the kernel you're running.

I don't have a heckuva lotta time this afternoon, but you might try PM'ing me later on!
