So when i got my mobo and chip, i put some arctic silver on the hsf and seated it, and saw "pretty good"(46nl - 51l) temps with the stock hsf on a 2800+. however, a few days ago i got the two toned siren from my nf-7 telling me it was overheating. I unplugged it, tried again, same thing later that day. I got frustrated, said I was going ot buy a dell, then decided to reseat the heatsink. When I took it off, the proc was barely on the copper core, kind of at an inbetween place - as though it had moved. I flipped the hsf and put it back on, and I'm back to where I was. I thought it was weird, why did it take so long to happen if it wasn't seated properly?
