Has anyone used Copper Pipe?

Has anyone ever done anything like using soddered copper pipe instead of plastic tubing?



I was just thinking about this, If you used copper pipe...wouldn't it help radiate the heat out of the water, specially on the return lines?



I don't run water cooling, and don't have the money to experiment myself... but I thought it might be a neat little aid to the cooling.
