so i got my lg, it's been working five for five days
and today i turn it on, worked well.. and then blue flashing line appeared..
i was like okay whatever, shut of my pc, and then the line is permantly there.. switched dvi cable, (monster cable) and put the vga same crap..
then i tried my two laptops dvi and vga same crap

take a look at the pic (sorry for the quality cell phone)

what could cause something like this?
 
Not sure exactly but i'd say it's time for an RMA unfortunately. Not much you can do since you said you tried different cables/computers.

Could be a loose cable inside the unit but that's only a guess. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting an RMA replacement on it though. Seems like a pretty blatent defect to me.
 
I've seen that, only worse, on my laptop that got a cracked LCD. Dropped the poor thing one to many times. I used it with the crack for about a year, it was about 6 years old total and the crack must have been doing something to the traces over time and whole columns/rows started going dead like that.
 
i wish i had dropped it or something so i can say i know where the problem came from

but that never happend i have no idea how this happened

it started with yellow and then turned blue
 
Yeah i have seen this, and you should RMA, its not your fault, it is a manufacturing problem! the sanyo (i think) had a big problem with that!
