I wasn't sure where to post this, but the apple section seemed the most appropriate. I've had my eye on a piece of electronics and it seems like the cheapest place to buy it is through macmall.

I've been reading some reviews online and it seems hit or miss. Normally I'd go with a trusted etailer like newegg or something, but by going through macmall, I'd be saving a few hundred dollars. With that said, does anyone here have an opinion on macmall? Are they a decent place to do business with? Looking for positive and negitive experiences.
 
Never bought from them before myself but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Also, they've been around for a long time.
 
Picked up some Ram for my iMac and planning on getting some for my macbook
The transaction was seamless
 
I bought through them personally and for work since the 90's so yeah, no problems with them.

I've even visited their headquarters, as it's not far from where I live, as they have a small storefront there. I bought my MacBook Pro there. I guess they are doing well as they just recently opened up a big MacMall retail store in Torrance (California).
 
Bought an iPod from them and the transaction was just as smooth as newegg
 
5x iPods, 1x Mac Mini and 1x MBP all purchased from MacMall. No problems...all very smooth transactions. If you get something with a rebate (or even several rebates) from MacMall, my experience is that they turn the rebate around very fast, so no worries on that end either.
 
I have done business with Macmall for the past couple of years and I could not be any more happy! Jade who is my account representative has been helpful with my questions and my concerns. Every time that there was a problem with an items Jade has resolved it right away. I have read bad reviews about Macmall but i guess it all depends on a case to case purchase! Like I have said before MacMall has treated me with complete respect and call up Jade if you ever need help.
