Hi I was wandering if GRUB can read i/p from the serial port.
I have W2k as my primary boot option (out of W2k and Gentoo) and I like to just walk pass my machine turn it on (via Cntl-Esc) and go grab grab a coffee.
If however I want to boot into linux I have to babysit the bootup/reboot to catch GRUB and choose linux
Any way that GRUB can read a throw swithc wired to a lead connected to the serial port so that I can set the switch and go get my coffee?
just wandering not critical
