Hardware Upgrade Advise Needed Please?

[hardtarget_007]

Hi all, just want some advise on which hardware to purchase for my next upgrade. I am mainly concerned with the Hard Drive and memory.
I'm looking to go Raid with two SATA drives about 100Gb/200Gb as my single IDE is just seems to be slowing my system down. Like the WD 74Gb Raptors, but are they worth the money? Which SATA 7,200 RPM drives do you guys recommend?

Also I will be going to Athlon64 system and want to use the memory and drives in that system. The Graphics card I was thinking of a Nvidia 6600GT AGP, (which one I have no idea?) as I will be going Athlon 64 ltr half of this year and they use PCI-E.

Current system:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 Extreme 3.2Ghz (800FSB)"Northwood"

CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS7700-CU

Motherboard: Asus P4P800-E Deluxe "Springdale" (Socket 478)

Memory: TwinMOS PC3200 400mhz 2@512MB CL2.5 Dual Channel

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 200GB 2000JB ATA-100 8MB Cache

Graphics Card: Radeon 9700 Pro AGP

TIA HT

As far as the 6600GT, BFG's are overclocked straight out of the box and you cant beat a lifetime warranty.

I had my last system w/ 2 PATA drives in a RAID 0. I skipped that with my new 939 setup w/ SATA's. I've read that there is actually a performance drop in games with a RAID setup.
