Hardware/Software to link computers?

Is there any software that allows you to join two computers together so that you can move your mouse across both monitors and drag files from one to another as if you had dual monitors on one computer? I already have both of the computers on a network and Vista installed on both.

You're describing "VNC". Google and try out the different VNC clients to find what fits your needs the best.

I second Synergy for the mouse across two monitors part. I didn't know that you could drag and drop files across PC's with VNC. I'm pretty sure you can't with Synergy either. But you can set up shared folders to move files across PC's on the same network.
