Please review my new computer hardware review site floorthecore.com. Its a collection of reviews from all different review websites, users can upload stories they think others would benefit from, and can even post their own reviews.

Not bad, but for pete's sake, help us elderly people to not go blind. Hehehe.

The organization of information seems good, but the pastel orange/blue on white combination is painful. Change the colors, but leave the rest alone.

Bad colors, and the page looks disjointed somehow. Maybe it doesn't render well in Firefox, but it looks broken somehow.

Also, It's trying to run jscript from some site, kqzyfj.com. That's a pretty suspect domain name, and would normally prompt me to browse away immediately.

As others have said, the colors are diabolically bad.

I can't figure out some of the navigation items. The "Vote" buttons lead to a login page with no explanation. What is "AdawgAvatar"?

The navigation is mashed over to the right, and the overall feel is very distracting and unfocused. When I read the site, I feel like I'm trying to have a quiet conversation in a noisy bar.

Looking at FireBug, I find that Adawg_30.jpg and bg_header.gif are requested but 404. Maybe that's part of the problem for the "AdawgAvatar" and screwed-up navigation. I have an insanely fast connection here at work, and the site takes 2.2 seconds to load. 300 kilobytes total, which isn't so bad -- but for home users it's going to be crappy.

The content is between crappy and non-existent. Looks like the site is jut about re-publishing links to other stories on other sites, like the HardOCP guys do, or DailyTech does. I guess this is the new bottom-feeder web economy, but it's just not interesting to me. Here, it's so bad that the site isn't interested in establishing it's own identity; the "About" page gives me some text about a content management system instead of telling me why I might be interested in this site.

That leads me to believe the creator of the site wanted to create a site for the exercise of creating a site, not in the interest of providing something new and innovative, or to solve a problem, or to fill a gap in the available services.

There's no reason for me to visit the site again.
