Does anybody know any HARDWARE knowledge bases? I know there's zillions for software, software errors, troubleshooting, etc... but are there any that you guys know of that are the same thing as Microsofts Knowledge Base (for example), except for hardware? Thanks... any information would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

I know there are some out there and have been to them... but which do you guys use personally.. and is there one as *extensive* as microsofts software knowledge base?
I know there's knowledge bases for certain companies products.. but is there anyone for ALL/GENERAL hardware? Not specifically for a companies proprietary products.

I just use google. Haven't heard of anything that resembles what you're talking about.

The StackExchange network comes to mind as a potential candidate. I glanced through the network of active Stack Exchange sites, but could not find an existing site match. They do have a site proposal section, so you can start there.
However, I think you'll need to explicitly define the boundaries of what would (and would not) constitute as a viable topic. As it stands, I think the topic is too vague and thinly spread to reliably provide value versus a generic Google search.
