I have just dismantled my PC, to use some of the parts for the new PC I am creating. I have had to put some parts in a box with a plastic covering, no Anti-static bag. Will it be safe for a good 4-5 days like that? It's in a heavily concealed box, nothing can get to it.
 
shouldn't hurt it, i leave parts laying around all the time, i have yet to kill any. modems, NIC's, sound cards, raid cars, MB's, VC, you name it it has been laying in a box or on my desk without static protection. If i have a static bag i will put it in there, but if i dont' no biggie
